Misha and Maggie

Last week arrived a new Blythe cutie, Varsity Dean, that was released in October 21, 2016. I had to wait for a moment to buy her, but from first sight I was quite sure I´d have to get this one, as she was really cute and I liked her stock outfit too. Very versatile and nice! Even still you first see the hat and letterman jacket, I actually liked specially her hoodie dress, striped stockings and cute shoes. Also the haircolour and light brown special eyes looked really nice.

Late night in November, well, not the best time to take pics, but here she is after box opening! Such a cutie. She named herself Maggie from quite first sight, and that is a nice name for her.

 When I saw her up close, I realized why I had liked her so much. She is almost identical with one of my favourite Blythes, Misha Tebya Lyublyu. They look just like sisters! I thought they even had same special eyechips, but closer look in daylight shows both still have a colour of their own, but it is very close. 

Aren´t they cute together! :) And the names rhyme together well, too. Misha and Maggie.

Summer meet-up at the lakeside 13.-14.8.2016 Day one!

I had chance to take part in adult hobbyists overnight meet-up of the PullipSuomi -forum! Enjoyed a lot for nice company and seeing so many different dolls! 12 lovely ladies of us had great time in the cabin at lakeside near Pieksämäki and Varkaus. Unfortunately first day was really bad weather, but luckily it got better by the morning, and we got also outside photos, after all! Tons of photos following! :)

Here are all the dolls attending the meet-up! Such a huge amount of all kinds of wonderful dolls. I really enjoy that people nowadays seem to enjoy the different things instead of liking just one type of doll. Such a richness it gives to the hobby, as we saw this time, too. And how the dolls had fun interaction between all the lines!

A character of his own was Fabio, less than 10€ finding from the gas station one of us had taken along. That lame but self-confident ladies´ man had such a "charm" and so impressively moving hips that he outdoes easily any Ken doll! And he made us laugh a lot during the rainy night in cabin! :D

                         It was a shame, that in such day there were heavy rain and wind! No chance for outdoor photos. 

                                                     But everyone were having fun anyways!

 Amazingly, there really is the right person to use any odd piece of clothing. This hat has never looked as good on any doll, even on the Blythe it used to belong! And so cute on her!

                                                 Ruruko found a cute friend! I really liked the expression of this Azone girl.

                                               Jude is happy next to such a pretty girl! (Who seems not to notice him at all, poor boy!)

I don´t know if I´m just so badly unskilled using this blog, but everything looks different published than when I´m getting it ready - change places and rows and blah... So I always need to edit it so many times.

Blythe a Day and Nukkekesähaaste!

                                                                                   I´ve attended in two photo challenges this summer!

The June 2016 is themed with hit songs of 1980´s. I´m more a 70´s girl but liked the idea. The plan is to post a pic every day but it´s also ok to attend with a pic or few, so if someone gets interested, just jump in even middle of the month!

First day started with Cyndi Lauper´s "Girls just wanna have fun". I was inspirated by the music video and tried my best to capture the jumpy feeling as well as chose line from lyrics as a title.

Apple Flower meet-up in Jyväskylä - many photos!

I had lovely time in last weekend, attending in doll meet-up held in apple tree park, such a lovely place for picnic and open for public to refresh - not just to admire the flowers, but later in autumn people of the town of Jyväskylä can just go and pick the apples to eat! :)

I had four dolls with me; Livia (Noble Dolls Raspberry), Neppi (Dust of Dolls Appi Meel), Misha (Blythe Misha Tebya Lyublyu) and still nameless cutie (Tutu Ruruko). There were lots of gorgeous dolls of others to admire, and most of them Dollfie Dreams and Azones.



First time I realized the difference between Ruruko and Azones, when I get to see them all along. I felt they´re quite alike with same body, similar hair and painted face. But it´s the anime face with hardly much else than those big pretty eyes that doesn´t work with me. Ruruko has actual human face with detailed nose, mouth and chin.

First I took pics of the bright fuchsia flowered tree, but while being pretty, it was a bit too deep colour for Neppi.

As there were swing props available, of course all the girls must try for it! :) It was funny how worried Livia looked like, and Neppi was self-conscious like falling was out of question with her. And well, she indeed sat there balanced like a rock.

MDD sized Dollfie Dreams were really cute. I´m starting to feel worriyngly tempted to buy one... ;)

She looked like a kind big sister taking care of the little ones. These dolls have nice proportions for taking pics together.

Dolly meet-up for long time!

I had lovely day today, meeting doll hobbyist friends in a meet-up. :) Here are a couple of pics of the event, most of the dolls aren´t mine, as there were several people along with their dolls.

Seeing the cute Dollfie Dream and Azone made me again secretly wish for owning such ones... But so far the anime-styled dolls really haven´t been for me, so maybe I just enjoy them in photos and meet-ups...

In almost every meet there is a big grumpy doll terrorized by the cute tinies. Always as fun, isn´t it? Except for him, as you can see from his expression... ;)

Dolly mail days!

Always fun to open doll packages and in last days there have arrived three new packets! Yay! :D

First arrived package from PullipStyle; My Select Dal Frara and Isul MIO kit.

 

And today I got one of my dream Blythes, Sunshine Holiday! She is second hand, but almost new.

One thing I can´t get used to are the pink eyechips which almost every Blythe has. I changed her pinks for realistic pretty eyes by Puppelina. She looks lovely with them!

Also I got another second hand founding, Littlefee Arctic fox with extra faceplate and parts. But as cute as this little guy is, I mostly need the body for already excisting faceplate. But this cutie is really sweet like this, too!

Now there is only one doll left to wait, the Popovy Sisters Little Owl... One dream doll more to come. I wish she would arrive quickly, but no idea how long it may take. But she will for sure be a thing that is worth of even a long wait.
